It was a beautiful drive up and only took about an hour and a half to get to our snow filled playground. Along the way we stopped and got some snow pants for Rubi and a couple sleds.
At our destination there was this great hill that we could sled all the way down and the girls absolutely LOVED it!!!! On our way home we stopped for dinner at KFC and there was a life size statue of Col. Sanders and Rubi was infatuated with it. It was such a crack up so we had to take a bunch of pictures.
I am so glad we were able to take a quick day trip even though our life is packed full and we both sacrificed some precious study time it was totally worth it.

I am so jealous! 1. that you can sneak away from study time and 2. that your kids will play in the snow. Addy cries and says "I freezing". Good thing we moved to Vegas!
